Hello! My name is Tony Coppola, and I’m the proud owner of CC King Entertainment. I started the company back in 2008 while I was working as a drummer in the Metro Detroit music scene.
At the time, I wanted to take my drumming career as far as I possibly could, so I figured it only made sense to turn it into a real company. I named it CC King Entertainment in honor of my parents—“CC” for my mom’s initials, and “King” for my dad, who happens to be the biggest Elvis fan on the planet!
As the business grew, I opened a recording studio in my house and called it CC King Studio. After a few years of running the studio, I expanded again and started providing sound and stage equipment for live bands. Before I knew it, I had accumulated a ton of professional audio gear.
I figured I might as well get as much use out of it as possible, so I decided to give DJing a try. After DJing my first wedding in 2010, I was instantly hooked. There’s just something special about being part of such an important day. The energy, the excitement, the packed dance floor—it was everything I loved about performing, just in a different way.
From that point on, I focused most of my time and resources on building a top-tier wedding DJ company. Eventually, the business grew enough for me to leave my career as an occupational therapist and go all in on CC King Entertainment full time.
Once I made that leap, my schedule filled up faster than ever. The only problem was I didn’t like turning people away because I was already booked. So I started building a team of reliable, professional DJs who shared the same standards and work ethic the company was built on.
Today, we have an incredible team, and we perform at hundreds of weddings every year. It’s been amazing to watch the company grow, but I’ve never been someone who likes to stand still.
After more than 15 years of providing premium wedding DJ services, we’ve expanded into high-quality photo booths, Chiavari chair rentals, live music, and pipe and drape. I also launched a second company, Top Care Tent Rental, to serve outdoor weddings and events.
This whole journey has been an absolute blast, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for this company and everything it represents.
To me, CC King Entertainment isn’t just about DJs or event rentals.
It’s about growth, professionalism, and delivering an incredible experience every single time.
